Gardens of Annapolis wins Gold at MMHA Star Awards

Cove Property Management is proud to announce Gardens of Annapolis won the Gold Star Award for Active Adult Community. Since 1997, MMHA has recognized industry excellence at the annual Star Awards Ceremony.

There were nine other competitors in this category, and Linda Cochran and her team worked hard to achieve this first place award.  Cove Property Management is extremely proud of them and their stellar performance in this well-deserved accomplishment.

The MMHA Star Awards are designed to honor members of the association who exhibit the most outstanding and innovative properties and professionals in the Maryland multi-housing industry. All awards are based on nominations from the membership and are judged by a third party.

Going Smoke Free

Effective September 1, 2016, Cove Property Management will begin the transition to make all of our properties smoke-free environments, including apartments and common areas. All new residents and residents renewing their current lease will be required to adhere to a newly adopted smoke free policy.

Charles Ford promoted to Regional Service Manager

It is with great pleasure that we announce the promotion of Charles Ford to Regional Service Manager of Cove Property Management. Charles has worked in the property management industry for many years, in various roles. As Cove continues to grow, Charles will play a key role in our growth and success in his new position. He will be supporting all property maintenance teams with staffing, hands of training, problem solving and after hours/emergency support. Charles will also be working on capital improvement projects, OSHA/shop safety and inventory, preventative maintenance programs, property inspections and various other property level projects.

Cove Property Management’s Stephen Margerum approved to instruct Investment Real Estate classes for IREM

The Instructor and Grader Administration Advisory Board has approved Stephen Margerum to teach Investment Real Estate: Financial Tools (FIN 402) for the Institute of Real Estate Management as of April 10, 2016. The approval process is an in depth training that requires a high level of skill and commitment. Becoming a part of the IREM Instructor cadre is a prestigious and important professional achievement. Although the approval process is a rigorous one, the time and financial commitment involved are well worth it.
